Today, Congressman Dan Lipinski IL-3 joined House Democratic leaders in unveiling the “Make It In America” agenda for the 112th Congress, a centerpiece of which is his bipartisan National Manufacturing Strategy Act, H.R. 1366. This bill passed the House last year by an overwhelming margin, 379-38, and again has a strongly bipartisan list of cosponsors. It requires the development of a national manufacturing strategy in order to boost traditional and high-tech manufacturing, spur American job growth, strengthen the middle class, and enhance national security.
