Job Description
The position is responsible for developing new prospects and interacting with existing customers to increase sales and build strong business partnerships within this territory. Can you analyze customer needs, solve problems and interact well with others? Do you enjoy the challenges that manufacturing holds and provide innovative solutions? If so, please read on.
Qualifications
- Experience in machine tool sales – consistent producer
- Highly motivated independent worker – self-starter
- Outstanding customer relationship builder – excellent follow-up ability
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Background in CNC applications, service and/or operation of a machine tools is desirable
Responsibilities
- Expand coverage of an existing producing territory
- Build relationships with customers, manufacturers and suppliers
- Analyze customer needs and present product recommendations
- Use technical knowledge to support and build sales
- Provide professional presentations
- Prepare sales quotations
- Utilize customer database software
- Telemarketing
